MDG seg faults (MDG_CHAR)

Mdg_char had a segmentation fault when trying to learn a new spell:

missile        0   (0%)  zap            0   (0%)      Q)uit




 Cost to study lightning is 600; do it? (y/n) Segmentation fault

Has anyone had this problem as well?
