Does anybody have fix for Emulex dmf-32

I vaguely remember there was some discussion quite a while back
about the problem of Emulex dmf-32 dropping characters occasionally
with the standard 4.3BSD driver.  Would somebody please tell me
what the fix is, if one exists.
