         PROGRAMMING IN C UNDER UNIX - 5 day course - 18-22 September 1989

                 using HEWLETT-PACKARD 9000/300 workstations

This course provides comprehensive coverage of C and its use under UNIX, 
beginning with the fundamentals of developing C programs using a source-level 
debugging tool and working through arrays, pointers, structures, functions, 
maintaining libraries and interfacing C to other languages. 
  No previous knowledge of either C or UNIX is required.

The course gives considerable "hands-on" experience with half the time being
spent in practical sessions. A full set of course notes will be supplied which
may be retained. Source programs used as examples will be supplied in machine-
readable form which may also be retained.
