Converting C++ source to C

I would like to learn C++, but don't want to go out and buy

a new compiler ( I'm using MS Quick C ).  I was wondering is

there a public domain preprocessor or parser around that will

convert my C++ source into something that would compile on my

SuperSport286?

Thanks in advance.

PS. Is there a difference between Objective C and C++?
