C programs wanted

We are looking for smallish ANSI c programs for use in
some experiments in code reading, programm understanding,
and software maintenance tools. Ideal programs would:

1) BE under 1000 lines
2) Be complete programs (ie not just disconnected library functions)
3) Use only ANSI standard library functions and headers.
4) Have at least a couple of lines of documentation
   saying what the program does.

Any offerings would be appreciated. Please send
