Due to the fact, that some people mail me, I should post
the answers to my question about the curses-library for msdos,
here is the answer that wrote Mike Castle.
I thank Mike for his quick and very useful answer.

There are several mail servers that will process the ftp commands for those who
have access to e-mail, but not FTP.  Addresses are:
