Seeking Eunice experiences

I'm now in the middle of trying to decide whether Eunice will do
the job as the source control/maintenance hub for a large software
project destined for several target environments, including UNIX
and VMS, and haven't seen anything on this newsgroup in the last two
months since I discovered the need to hear about Eunice.
I'd greatly appreciate some input from people who have been trying
to do real things with it.

I'd especially like to hear about your experiences in two areas:
	- technical (so far Version 4.2 looks pretty good to me,
		what pitfalls have I not tripped over yet?)
	- support (pre-sales support also looks great; how are they
		[TWG] AFTER the sale?)

My intention is to set up a software maintenance toolbox based
on a number of tools written for UNIX, mostly 4.nbsd, along with
custom tools to deal with system-dependencies for each target, but
keeping one master copy of everything on one system.  I'm most
comfortable with UNIX, and don't know anything beyond the marketing
hype (and SPD's) from DEC about their VMS tools (CMS/MMS/DECshell/??

If you can compare Eunice/VMS (and various UNIX-style tools) to the
various software development/maintenance tools for VMS available
from DEC, so much the better (anybody started with VMS tools and
switched to UNIX/Eunice because of problems, or vice versa?)

Please let me hear from you, whether good or bad.  I'll summarize
your responses to the net...
