seeking info about batch packages

I'm trying to find out about batch packages for Unix.  I've gotten
some information about the NQS package put out by Sterling Software.
Does anyone know of other such systems that can be integrated into a
Unix system?  Or does anyone have user documentation for NQS they'd be
willing to share?
