lrand48/seed48 problem solved

Well, I managed to figure out what I was doing wrong with seed48 and
lrand48.  Turns out that I was missing the 'l' on the lrand48 call
and that seed isn't the seed call for the standard rand function (it's
srand).  Sorry for the wasted bandwidth!
