Novice questions about the Unix PC

This weekend I traded some stuff for a Unix PC, and have many questions
for those of you kind enough to help me out:-)

First of all, I was told the thing was a 3B1, but all over the box
its marked 7300. What is the difference, if any?

Next, Id like to know where to get some software for this thing.
The first thing on my list is to get a screen saver. I have to
turn this thing off, cause it takes so damned long to boot!

Also, this window type interface, can one dump that in favor of
a real windowing system, like maybe X? (please!)

And oh do I have many questions! I dont want to waste lots of space,
so Ill just leave it at that for now. Im not really a new comer to Unix,
just to the way this box is set up, and the quirks of the software, etc.
(took me a long time to figure oout how to dial out from my external
2400 modem, instead of the internal 1200 modem! Now Ive gotta figger out
how to stop it from capturing all the data...)

Thanx
