John Lydic has this one completely worked out, and it does work. With his idea
you will have to set the baud rate with a dip switch, but hey! I'd do that to
get another serial port. John has just received an EIA card and he recently
got a TB, so he will soon become more net-connected.

BTW, John Lydic has done a lot on something called the "Mondo Combo" card,
which has already been designed from a schematic point of view, but has not
yet been layed out as a board. It will have SCSI, 4M of RAM (2 expansion and
2 RAM disk), 8 serial ports and a few other goodies. He is planning to see
bare boards and PALs. The board is designed so that, for the most part one
can populate only the common bus interface and the part you're interested in.
John selected a Western Digital SCSI chip which he has written OS/9 drivers
for.
