2400 baud on OBM in UNIXPC

I have heard a rumor that it is possible via a few jumpers to make the
300/1200 baud OBM into a 1200/2400 baud OBM.  The software will think
the baud rate is 300 when it is really 1200, and 1200 when it's really
2400.  I heard this rumor from someone inside Convergent (the actual
makers of the machine) who knows someone who worked in the hardware
dept.  I am in the process of finding out more details about this
modification, and will post details here if I find anything out.  In the
meantime, anyone have any comments?  Is this true?  I think it might be,
given all the references to 2400baud inside the include files for the
modem.
