Adding Hardrive & Controller to 6300 (M24)?

While on the subject of upgrading these machines, I have a Xerox 6064
that I am handing over to my kids. I would like to replace the existing
monochrome monitor with a color monitor and an EGA or VGA adapter card.
Does anyone have any hints on how best to accomplish this task?
