hard drives for odd-ball computers

For at least a year, Pyramid has been saying that they are working on
a VLSI implementation of the Pyramid processor.  From what I can tell,
they are making good progress.  However I don't think Pyramid has home
computers in mind.  I expect to see a bit more overlap between
high-end Suns and low-end Pyramids than now, but Pyramid still sees
themselves as being in the business of making medium to large
machines.
