Who's fault is it????

	I realize that the following is not stricitly an IRIS question,
but it often impacts my ability to interact with this list;
	The following is a far too typical example of what happens to many
of my info-iris (and other) messages.   I have complained bitterly to our
system manager,  but he claims that sumex, brl, rutgers, riacs, nd others all 
have 'funny' mailers which cause the problem...   (Sounds like a little child
saying that the whole world is wrong...).    What I would like to know
is:   How many subscribers are there on info-iris,  and how many other
people have had problems like this?   Would the info-iris manager please
send me the number of total users,  and would any individual who has seen 
a similar problem please send me a message? (or try to...)
