rotated fonts

I have written some FORTRAN subroutines which rotate character strings.
They are charup, chardn, and charud, and are called in the same manner
as charst. They write vertically upward, downward, and horizontally upside
down, respectively.  I'll e-mail the sources to anyone who is interested.
Is there a volunteer to convert them to C and Pascal?
