We are considering obtaining a Pixar II for use as part of the
scientific visualization effort at the Program in Applied and
Computational Math at Princeton. Our primary use would be for the
development of an interactive volume visualization tool for
computational fluid dynamics.

I am anxious to talk or exchange email with anyone who is currently using
a Pixar II, especially in an environment with an SGI machine as a host.
In particular, I would like to hear about:

o	speed, especially in volume visualization tasks
o	ease of programming
o	ease of use
o	how it helped you achieve tasks that were beyond the realm
	of normal SGI equipment

Thanks in advance for your help.
