3.1G lp problem/fix

I don't remember if its been mentioned in this newsgroup yet or not, but
everyone here who has upgraded to 3.1G has run across this problem, so I 
thought I'd mention it (again?):

After the upgrade, you may notice that the lp spooler is not working properly.
This is because the permissions on the /usr/spool/lp directory are inconsistent.

Some of the symptoms may be:  the lp command hangs, the lpstat command hangs, 
the scheduler is stopped, and some other minor anomilies which I don't quite
understand (having to do with FIFO and SCHEDLOCK).

To "fix" the problem, change the owner of the /usr/spool/lp directory to lp:

	chown lp /usr/spool/lp

Everything seems to work quite nicely again.
