Hello ipi and inode types, Sorry, it was my mistake, mkfs does generate enough inodes on IPI drives for normal software installation. I had created a some extra partitions on the drive and used a rather easy but wastefull technique for creating the needed drivers. Thank you for your patience, Bruno
