RGB Video Converter

We've been wanting to be able to save images on the screen to VHS
tape, and have found several hardware options. One we're looking at
is a converter box that will take in RGB signals and output S-Video
and Composite. We'd prefer this one over a genlock card since the
same box can be used on other equipment in the lab.

My question is this: I've been unable to find complete specs for the
RGB video on the Iris. I know that it is 75 ohm with sync on green,
but can't find the peak to peak voltage. Here is what the converter
box will handle:

RGB Input:	Option to sync on green
Connector:	BNC input with BNC loop-through
Impedance:	75 ohm or High Z
	Input Level:	0.714 Vp-p

The converter is called VIDI/O Box from Truevision. The Vidi/o box
will work with standard RGB signals. Does anyone know if the SGI
outputs standard RGB. If you know if this is ok, or have heard rumor
of someone using this without blowing up their computer, please tell
me.
