I am looking for a simple way to define the locations and state of
windows after login without having to learn PostScript!

Something similar to Sun's toolplaces > .suntools seems like an
essential feature that saves a lot of time after login.

However, I found nothing in SGI manuals.

All I want to do is record the placement and state (iconic or not) of
my windows and use that record as my default startup layout.

Please email me any information you have.
Thank you !
