In the Nov 5, 1990 issue of UNIX Today!, page 14 of the Comdex Guide there
is the annoucement that SGI will be showing their new product "IrisVision".

IrisVision is a two board set for IBM PC clones. The AT bus version will
be $3495 for the 8bit version, and $4995 for the 24bit version. The
Micro Channel 8bit version will be $3995 when it becomes available in Jan.

Does anybody have detailed specs they can post? Does it have Z-buffering?
Is it a subset/equal to/superset of the standard or Turbo version of the
Personal IRIS? Is it interlaced? Is there a genlock option? And of
course, does a certain network stress test program work ;-) ;-) ;-).

Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks & B Cing U

Buck
