bad page read under 3.3 ???

I see these too, but on a "diskful" 4D25G IRIX 3.3.1.  The swap area is on
the local disk.  There don't seem to be any other indications of possible
disk problems.  I can understand errno=5 (I/O error), but the errnos in my
case are more like 134 (which is ESTALE - huh? - no stale handles here...)
