YP and subnets

Yellow Pages (YP) and subnetting don't mix well.  The ypbind program will
not look outside of its subnet for servers.  I am about to undertake the task
of making our network truely global in the sense of every workstation having
global passwd, hosts, aliases, etc.

Here is my proposal:

Server1, Server2, Server3, and Server4 are network servers.  These will also
serve as YP master servers for their respective subnets.  The backbone
subnet is 200.  Master1 is a workstation connected directly to the backbone.
Master1 will also be a master YP server, and will list Server1, Server2,
Server3, and Server4 as slave servers.

Q1:	Will This even work?
Q2:	Will ypupdated from the four servers even see Master1?
Q3:	If the general domain is: mycomp.com and each server has a subdomain
	ie: Server1.mycomp.com What should be the domain name for Master1?
	Master1.mycomp.com or just mycomp.com or does it matter?
	Or should all systems use just mycomp.com?

The intent is to have truely global YP service.  The assumption is that Master1
will be the global repository for all updates.  If you can devise another
way, or have done something like this, your comments are WELCOME.
