Problem 1: MAIL file

We have two 4D320VGX-es... They both have the same problem...

The mail system does not recognize it's own mail file. Sending a mail to
a user works OK, only that the user will not be able to read it...
Trying to read the mail, the user gets

mail: mailfile does not begin with a 'From' line

Looking into the /usr/mail/$LOGNAME file I see that the file begins
with a blank line before the 'From' line... Removing that line, and the
mail can be read with mail.

Someone else run into that problem ?

Problem 2: ROUTE needs refresh ?

The /etc/init.d/network file contains all routing necessary (it is
sufficient
for starting network and setting up routing. However, after a while (seems
like 24hrs or so), I need to redo the

route add 0.0.0.0 my-gw 1

Any idea why this routing seems volatile ?

Mail answers directly to me (kalle at sima.sintef.no) and I will post a
summary
if there seems to info of public interest.
