eof/uio error

	I am having a problem with a temporary file in a Fortran program

	On a 4D/320VGX (3.3), I am opening a temporary file in a Fortran
	program.  Unfortunately, everyonce in a while, the program exits
	with the following message:

	eof/uio: Interrupted system call.

	Does anyone have any clues as to what might be happening.  This exit
	does not happen everytime.  I have no idea what is going on with this
	error.  

	Any ideas(or solutions) would be greatly appreciated!!
