SGI RGB file format

SGI provides a Very Large Number of image manipulation tools which
operate on SGI image format.  I haven't listed these, below, but they
can be found by typing man -k image.  Also check out the istat
utility's man page.  This explains the image format header, which all
SGI image tools recognize.

We always ship filters to and from a number of other formats.  You may
be trying to convert to one of these, in which case your problem is solved.

Here is a list of the image conversion filters I have on my system.
These were taken from 'man -k image'.  I've excluded the image
manipulation tools from this list, but try them, they're fun!

fromalias (6D)          - converts an Alias image to an Iris image
