Under a-yet-to-be-numbered future software release, the one where we ship X as the window server, wsh supports an "anchor point" option which specifies which corner of the window should be anchored during size changes. If this is used in conjunction with a particular window manager the results are usually good. Its not quite ideal, but it does help. kipp
