this is for the person who wanted the prom environmental
for an autoreboot after, say, a power outage
i tried sending you email, but my mailer couldn't find your
  host

the correct prom is 'c'

>> setenv bootmode c

for cold restart

thanks
lara

ps. while i'm here, i want to stress one thing that i've seen
  people get very confused on

it has to do with inst.
automatic install does not _necessarily_ do just
  defaults.
automatic inst looks at your inst history and then
installs that. so, if you installed man pages
in 3.2, and you do an auto inst of 3.3, in theory
it should install the man pages
if you removed your hist, you've corrupted your hist, or
you're installing os for the first time on a virgin disk,
  then automatic defaults to manual/default

this is one of the main reasons why you should ONLY load
maintenance tapes automatically: it reads the hist file
to see what was loaded and then only updates those files.

thanks for your time and bandwidth
