260 crashing with Error message Panic: sleep

I'm experiencing system crashes with the error message panic: sleep.  I
have a 3/260, servering 6 clients.  I have just reinstalled unix using
setup and this error continues. If anybody is able to give me some leads
in solving this problem I would much appreciate their response.
