I am having problems with a LaserWriteII running off a tty port on a Sun
3/280 running 4.0.1. Things work in general but if a long (>10 pages)
domunet is sent I think the XON/XOFF is screwed up and it hangs. Here is
the current printcap:
ps|lp|ps|postscript|PostScript:\
:lp=/dev/ps:sd=/usr/spool/ps:\
:lf=/usr/adm/ps-log:af=/usr/adm/ps.acct:\
:br#9600:rw:fc#0000374:fs#0000003:xc#0:xs#0040040:mx#0:sf:sb:\
:pl=60:pw=80:\
:if=/home/lib/ps/psif:\
:of=/home/lib/ps/psof:gf=/home/lib/ps/psgf:\
:nf=/home/lib/ps/psnf:tf=/home/lib/ps/pstf:\
:rf=/home/lib/ps/psrf:vf=/home/lib/ps/psvf:\
:cf=/home/lib/ps/pscf:df=/home/lib/ps/psdf:
Of particular interest are the fc,fs, xc, and xs settings. These seem to
work fine on Sun OS 3.X systems but I am wondering if something else needs
to be done for 4.0 systems since they aadopted the SysV tty organisation.
Any ideas?
