Exabyte crashes SUN servers

I've been using my Exabytes on my SUN 3/280's and had very few problems so
far. Recently, however, I've gotten the same error on two different SUN
servers. This causes my SUNs to crash and reboot. I was wondering
whether you've seen these errors on your systems. Our servers are running
SUN OS 4.0.3

Here are the errors:

I talked to both SUN and Exabyte about getting these tape drives
working on our machines. (By the way, these Exabytes are packaged
by Delta Microsystems.) SUN said that they are not currently
supporting this device. Exabyte denied all knowledge of SUN
making their device working on their computers.

We are using these tape drives daily, but the above errors show
up once in a while.
