Calentool question

I have been using calentool 1.4 for a while and found it very useful.

But there are still some annoying bugs. Sometimes for some undefined
reasons, my .appointments file get corrupted and only the events of the
current day remain. I suspect that this happens when you log more than one
time (on another machine).

I would like to know if 1.4 is the most recent release?  if no, where can
I get (FTP) a more recent one?  Who is "in charge" of this tool? Is there
anybody working on it I could contact directly?

[[ I believe that 1.4 was the last version that was widely distributed.  I
know that the original author is working on a new version (2.1, I
believe), because we have a "beta" copy floating around.  So hang in there
if you can, he should be done with it soon.  --wnl ]]
