'bar(1)' misdocumented in 4.0.1???

HELP! I just ran into something I probably should have noticed long ago. I'm
trying to write a script to backup my system (full and/or incremental). Since
I only have floppies, I have to use 'bar'. I tried to use the X option (to
exclude certain directories) only to find that that option is invalid! In fact,
'bar' takes quite different options then the ones documented on the man page
and in the manual!!!! Here's the error message I get from bar:

   bar: usage: bar -{txruR}[cvfblmhopwBisIHUZMSD] [tapefile][blocksize]
[includefile] [archive ID] [UID] [modtime] [new directory] [date] file1
   file2...

Not only is the X option missing, but there're a couple of undocumented
options listed! (for instance, it seems that it's possible to specify a
date (for incremental dump?).

The following options are undocumented:
   MD
The following are documented, but apparently not implemented:
   eXN

Also, why isn't 'c' included in the leading curly brackets? It's mutually
exclusive with txr or u.

Can anyone fill me in on what's going on???
