Secure NFS

I just started playing with socalled secure NFS and the manual seems a bit
obscure. Not having gotten it too work I have two questions:

1) Will secure NFS work at all using SunOs 4.0.1 EXPORT?
Note the EXPORT. Secure NFS has something to do with DES, and authorities
in the USA have, in their infinite wisdom, decided not to export it.
When I asked some Sun speaker about that some months ago he claimed it would
work in export versions, but he was an American.

2) What is /etc/netid?
On page 72 of the Security Features Guide(love that name), line 5,
it says: "Make sure /etc/netid exists on the YP master server".
Now I would be happy to make that file, but what should I put in it?
I haven't been able to find any reference to this file in the
   documentation.

This message also is a race between Sun Support and SunSpots. I gave them
a headstart by calling them first.
