Humanities software for Sun/Unix systems wanted

If you are in a university and have or know of software for the Humanities
that runs on Sun computers, or under Unix in general, then please let me
know.  This is a more humanities oriented sort of university, and some
technical people would like to move the rest of the school off of macs and
PCs and onto real computers.

Please respond by mail as I don't generally read Sun-Spots/comp.sys.sun
too much.
