Hooking CDC 9766 Drives to a Sun-3. Again.

I know this has been beaten to death repeatedly, but I need to connect a
CDC9766 to a Sun-3/260 (XY753 probably) running SunOS4.0.x.  (I know it's
a stupid thing to do, but I have no choice.)

If anyone has a procedure for doing this, I'd appreciate hearing about it.
War stories are also welcome. Please email, I doubt that there are very
many people on the net who consider this great drama.
