freemsg patch for SunOS 4.0.3

Today we received a 'freemsg' patch to SunOS 4.0.3 that is supposed to fix
our crash problem when people dial in on the modems.  We just installed
it, so we have no report on its effectiveness yet.  It supposedly backs
out of a previous patch, which prevented logins on a dialin port when
background processes are left running without redirecting IO.  We will
keep our fingers crossed, and keep an eye on uptime!  -David-

p.s. this note was accidently misdirected.  We have had the patch
installed for several weeks, and it works as advertised.  -David-
