PC-NFS on PS/2's

We are trying to connect a PS/2 to a network of Suns with PC-NFS, and it,
basically, doesn't work.  We are using a Western Digital card.  I have
heard a rumour that Western Digital don't work with PS/2's, but 3Com cards
do.  Any comments?
