Alternative SPARC operating systems (was wither the 3's)

There are currently some alternative SPARC operating systems, and some
others are (sort of) in the works.  Right now, you can get the Berkeley
Sprite operating system, which looks mostly like Unix (and offers many new
features) and which runs on Sun-4s, Sun-3s, and DECstation 3100s.  Other
operating systems (including a known favorite) may be coming down the road
sooner or later; watch this space for more information (and for requests
for help!).
