Optimal partitioning across two SCSI disks

We just acquired a new Wren Vll shoebox SCSI disk (formatted capacity 1.0
Gb) for our 4/330 server (running SunOS 4.0.3) which currently has a 669
Mb internal SCSI disk. We are running one diskless Sparcstation client
off the current server disk.

Question: what is the optimal way to distribute (i.e partition) the load
across the two disks given that disk activity is typically quite low on
our network? In paricular, with the server's root and swap partitions on
the internal disk, is it best to place /export/root and /export/swap on
the new disk?

Much obliged,
