server configuration

I would like to ask two questions:

1) I am purchasing 10 IPCs with 24MB RAM and 200 MB internal HD and 5 SLCs
with 16 MB RAM and no disk. The development is expected to be both Lisp
and Ada. I am currently thinking a 4/330 will handle the load. Comments?

2) For the disks on the server, I was originally thinking of 8" SMD
drives. The distributer is pushing 5 1/4" SCSI. The SCSI is relatively
close in performance (SCSI access= 24.8MS transfer=2.85MB/s; SMD access =
20.3MS transfer=3MB/s). Anyone using SCSI satisfactorily?

Thanks
Todd Thompson
