If you have a broken Sun workstation monitor and would like to have it
repaired economically try this: Check the label plate on the back of the
monitor and see if it was made by Elston Electronics, Geneva, NY. The
company was recently purchased by Display Technologies, where factory
repairs are now performed. Call Tony Denardo at 709-931-2141 (or -2131).
The cost is $99 flat unless a major component such as the picture tube
needs replacement. Our experience was a 7 week turnaround, but it was over
the Christmas break and it was the first Elston monitor that Display
Technologies had ever repaired, so you may expect a shorter turnaround
time.

Here's the shipping address: Display Technologies, 1355 Holmes Road,
Elgin, Illinois 60123.
