Re-entrant SunOS 4.x(.x) memory management routines?

The subject about says it:  are the memory management routines (malloc,
free, etc.) re-entrant under SunOS 4.{0.x , 1}, particularly when using
the lightweight processes (-llwp) package?

Any info would be much appreciated.
