Connecting an HP LaserJet IIISi to a Sun Network

We're thinking about buying an HP LaserJet IIISi printer.
If anyone has any experience with this printer connected to a Sun Network
I would appreciate some information on the below questions. Please send
me email, I will summerize the response`s and re-post.


1. Most of our printing consists of very large postscript files therefore,
   I would like to eliminate any potential bottlenecks and use the ethernet
   interface that the IIISi supports instead of the standard RS232 interface. 
   Does Sun O/S lpr support printing to ethernet printers? If so, how do you
   configure it?  If not, can I buy a software package that runs on a Sun
   that provides this kind of functionality?

2. Would there be any benefit to sending HP Printer Control Language to the
   IIISi instead of postscript (i.e. is HP PCL less cpu intensive on the 
   printer than postscript)?  Would HP PCL generate a smaller print file than
   the same postscript file?  Is there software available for the Sun to
   convert postscript to HP PCL?  

3. What's your experience with this printer, its rated at 17ppm but what's the
   real thru-put in a postscript environment?  Has the printer been reliable?
   Does the double sided print feature work very well?
   In general, do you think this is a good printer for the price?
