decnet interface?

I have been ask to check out the possibilty of connecting a Sun Sparc II
to our existing DECNET based network.  The requirements would be 

1. transmition of word perfect documents from vax's and pc (both ways)
2. transmision of cad files 
3. possible mail exchange.  vax's are using all-in-1 with both word
   perfect and the standard all-in-one editor.

The questions

    1. does a package exist that allows the sun to talk decnet?
    2. is it reliable?
    3. does anyone have experience with this type of connection?
