Printing selected text from OpenWindows ?

A not so elegant solution:
   Use the mouse to highlight the text you want to print.
   Hit the COPY key.
   Go to a shelltool and type lpr.
   Hit the PASTE key.
   Hit ctrl-D RETURN.
