AIX Installation

Ok, this is going to sound like a totally ignorant question to you AIX wizards
but.... (Please no flames)

We are going to be installing our first AIX box (PS/2 M70, 120 Meg HD,
Appletalk interface, streaming tape brand unknown by me).  Since I am
comfortable with Unix (SysV), I have never seen AIX and I have never done
an Unix installation.

I am sure that the Documentation will tell me all that I need to know, but
what I am curious about is:

How painful is the installation?  I am not too concerned with the Appletalk
right now, other than we are going to make sure that all cards are installed
before we start.  Would someone be willing to discuss the installation
process with me and maybe point out some things to watchout for.
