Problem with MH slocal

I'm having problems with "slocal" on an IBM RISC/System 6000 Model 540
running AIX 3.1.3.  "slocal" correctly delivers mail to folders or
files in my local directory.  But it does not handle default deliveries
to my mail drop in /usr/spool/mail/mms7r.  Here's the last line of my
.maildelivery file:
