I guess that it depends on what type of file system you mount.  If the file
system you mount has no facilities for setuid/setgid files then they can't
be a problem.

For example if an amiga dos filesystem was created for amiga unix, the mode
bits could be set to some default, with the amiga bits being mapped to the
'other' mode bits.  For more security the mode bits could be set so only
the owner of the mount point can access the floppy, with the 'user' mode bits
set from the amiga access bits.

It is possible to mount a filesystem that has no way of being a security
problem.
